30 Luxury Cars You Can Lease for $1,000

Guenter Schmied / BMW

Although the phrase affordable luxury cars might sound like an oxymoron, it’s not — especially if you opt to lease rather than purchase, which can be cheaper. The monthly cost of a luxury car lease can vary, of course, depending on factors such as your credit rating and the price of the vehicle.

GOBankingRates identified 30 luxury cars that individuals could lease for less than $1,000 a month and calculated the monthly cost on the basis of poor, fair, good or excellent credit. The better your credit rating, the more affordable lease terms you’ll likely be offered. For this study, the lease term assumed was 36 months with 12,000 annual miles. Find out the cheapest luxury car to lease — and the most expensive one — based on the type of credit you have.

Methodology: GOBankingRates found 30 luxury cars that one could lease for under $1,000 a month using Edmunds’ auto lease calculator. The monthly lease cost was then calculated for a person with (1) poor, (2) fair, (3), good and (4) excellent credit. The monthly lease calculations were made using the following assumptions and rules: ZIP code of 90245; title and registration fees not included; no cash incentives or trade-in value; cap cost not included; no acquisition fees; a lease term of 36 months with 12,000 annual miles; and no security deposit. All data was collected and accurate as of Aug. 9, 2019.
